Larry worked as a freelance writer and then as a creative editor and writer for the humanitarian nonprofit World Vision for more than 25 years. During that time he started and managed World Vision’s web presence.
After retiring from World Vision he has continued his freelance writing work, with several nonprofit books. He is currently working on his second novel.
In addition, he serves his church in a variety of leadership roles, is involved in communications and acoustic worship, and trains mushroom hunters in the forests of Western Washington.
He and his wife Darlene recently celebrated 45 years of marriage. They have two adult children and one granddaughter.
